As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a creative, strategic, and style-savvy Social Media Manager to help us bring our story to life online.

 

Role Overview

You’ll lead the strategy and execution of our social media presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook. From planning content calendars to storytelling through visuals and captions, you’ll turn followers into a connected, inspired community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Dua Menka’s monthly content calendar

• Create, schedule, and post daily content (images, Reels, Stories, graphics, etc.)

• Grow and engage our community through comments, DMs, and story interactions

• Analyze social media performance and report insights for growth

• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams for product launches and campaigns

• Monitor trends, hashtags, and culturally relevant moments

• Represent the brand voice consistently across all platforms

 

Requirements

• 2+ years experience managing brand social media accounts

• Strong aesthetic eye with ability to curate and create visually engaging content

• Proficient in Canva, Instagram Reels, and TikTok editing tools

• Understanding of African fashion, culture, and community is a major plus

• Exceptional writing skills with a tone that’s fun, bold, and authentic

• Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines

• Familiarity with Later, Planoly, Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling tools

• Photography, video editing, or graphic design background
